Queensport Rd - Shower Failure & Full Bathroom Reconstruction

This St. Paul water damage project began with a failed shower pan that caused ongoing water intrusion, leading to subfloor deterioration, compromised wall framing, and moisture migration into the basement below with visible mold growth. Located in the Minneapolis area, this project required a full-scope bathroom demolition, water damage restoration, and structural rebuild to properly address the source of failure and prevent future issues.

Our team completed a full gut renovation of the bathroom, removing all compromised materials including damaged subflooring and wall studs. Moisture-affected areas were professionally remediated to eliminate mold risk and restore a clean, safe environment. Structural repairs were completed to bring the framing and subfloor back to a solid, code-compliant condition.

The rebuild included installation of a Schluter waterproof shower system, featuring a pre-sloped Schluter shower pan and integrated waterproof membrane to ensure long-term protection against leaks. All waterproofing details were completed to industry best practices, including proper sealing at all seams, corners, and transitions.

The bathroom was then transformed into a high-end, traditional-style master bathroom with luxury finishes throughout. The custom tile shower is paired with a frameless custom glass enclosure, creating a clean and open feel. Fixtures and trim feature chrome Delta finishes, tying together a timeless, traditional design. Every detail of the layout and finish selection was carefully executed to deliver both durability and elevated aesthetics.
